The best things in life are the simplest things. One of my favourite tools that I use almost every day, are the 5 W's. It’s an oldie but a goody.
According to Google, Critical thinking is the intellectually disciplined process of actively and skillfully conceptualizing, applying, analyzing, synthesizing, and/or evaluating information gathered from, or generated by, observation, experience, reflection, reasoning, or communication, as a guide to belief and action.
Or more simply put, its a full evaluation of a subject. This can be overwhelming to even start sometimes, and that is why I have taken that hurdle away by always starting the Who, What, Where, When, Why, and How. They are not the end all and be all, but an excellent starting point to get the ball rolling.
